Hotel Occidental Miramar

Hotel Occidental Miramar This is an excellent four star hotel, which allows guests to combine both business and pleasure without any problems. It has a warm ambience and elegant style, and is located in the peaceful surroundings of Miramar, surrounded by beautiful old town-houses, embassies and shopping centres – a good area for leisure activities and tourists.
Modern and massive luxury hotel is an impressive and imposing presence in the heart of Miramar’s business district. It has nicer rooms than the MeliĆ” Habana , but it’s 2 blocks from the sea and has fewer dining and entertainment options. The rooms are all at least junior suites, with one queen-size bed and a comfortable sitting area. The beds are some of the firmest I’ve found in Havana. The bathrooms are just a tad on the small size in proportion to everything else here. Only the eight end-unit suites here have balconies, although these balconies are large. This place does a brisk business in group and conference travel.
Facilities: 3 restaurants; 2 bars; lounge; large outdoor pool; 6 outdoor tennis courts (2 lit); indoor squash court; well-equipped exercise room; sauna; children’s center; concierge; tour desk; car-rental desk; business center; shopping arcade; salon; 24-hr. room service; babysitting; laundry service; dry cleaning; nonsmoking rooms.

Hotel Nacional de Cuba

Hotel Nacional de Cuba occupying an entire block in the centrally located Vedado district, this is arguably one of Havana’s most famous hotels. The establishment’s impressive surroundings are somewhat eclipsed by its decorative lobby, adorned with ornamental tiles, sculptures and a singular architectural style. Built in 1930 and renovated in 1962, some of the hotel’s more celebrated guests have included Sir Winston Churchill, Frank Sinatra and supermodel Naomi Campbell. Often used for local conferences, it is also the venue for Havana’s annual New Latin American Film Festival. The rooms are quite large with decoration kept to a minimum.

Hotel Santa Isabel

Hotel Santa Isabel, Santa Isabel opens its doors with elegance, splendor and comfort, characteristics it has had since it was founded more than 100 years ago. Located at the Plaza de Armas, just meters from the square where the village of San Cristobal de Havana Province was founded, you can admire beautiful views of architectural monuments like the Palace of Captain-Generals and the Christ statue across Havana’s Bay. Santa Isabel has been pleasing guests for over a century and surely it’s 5-star rating will continue to guarantee you the very best in Cuban hospitality.
