We enjoyed our 4 nights here. It is very conveniently located across from the bus station and close to all the main sights. The owners are very friendly and the son speaks very good english which is handy for non spanish speakers and he can arrange trips etc for you. The food was also excellent (pork/shrimp/lobster etc).

This was our first time at staying in a Casa Particular. It was a great experience and as our future stays in Casas will testify, it is the ONLY way to stay whilst in Cuba. We were met at the Viazul bus station and taken to the door of the Casa, approx 30 seconds away, brilliant. We felt relaxed and the house was very grand. But one of the biggest bonuses was the food, highly reccomended. A great place to stay, don’t delay!

Chichi and his family were very hospitable. My 2 year old son enjoyed playing with Chichi’s younger sister. The parrot and goldfish also kept him entertained. Dinner was lovely and breakfast was always too much! We would often take the rest to snack on. Chichi was very helpful in advising us on tourist attractions (we are so glad we got to travel on the steam train!!) and not bad with making cocktails (mmmm…)! Location was great, facilities clean and a friendly family. This made our time in Trinidad perfect. Thank you Chichi.

Yirina and her son Chichi were excellent hosts. They live in a beautiful colonial house in the town centre (next Viazul station). The place is still very quiet and cozy. The breakfast and dinner was delicious, big portions. They have a nice patio where you can sit and have a coffee. Yirina was speaking to us very often and telling funny stories. My friend and I speak some Spanish, so it was easy to communicate with her. We liked the food very much. Fresh fruit in the morning and fresh vegetable in the evening and we also could choose between fish and meat. We stayed in their house for 5 nights. Taking the Viazul Bus from Havanna to Trinidad it takes 6 hours. The journey was quiet and comfortable. Just wear a shirt with long sleeves, jacket and jeans, because in the bus it is freezy. !

Trinidad is beautiful and well worth to visit. You feel like to live in the past. At night we went dancing Salsa at Casa de la Musica (outside). Nice atmosphere and great fun. You can also reach the beach by taxi (Playa Ancon) to have a rest.
